After a decade working as a technologist across healthcare, education, sport, accounting, audit, drinks, pen testing, and sales — the pattern became impossible to ignore. Every business we worked with had the same story.

They knew AI could transform their operations. They'd run experiments. Maybe even hired a consultant or two. But nothing ever made it to production.

The real problem was rarely the technology. It was a lack of strategic direction. Teams building what they liked, not what the business needed. No alignment between people, process, and product. Trying to do too much at once. And no idea how to take something from proof-of-concept to production.

Meet Ryan

Ryan has spent a decade as a technologist — building products, architecting solutions, and leading technical teams across industries from healthcare and education to sport, accounting, and cybersecurity.

He spent nearly five years inside Engine B, a venture-backed startup that reached a successful exit. As an engineer, solution architect, and technical product leader, he built automation that ingests ERP data, standardises it, and delivers real workflows at scale for large enterprise organisations.

Before that, he helped healthcare businesses navigate post-acquisition integration, scaled education software companies through to exit, and delivered technology solutions across everything from alcoholic beverages to BPO for sales teams.

The common thread? Every business — regardless of industry — struggled with the same things. No clear strategy. No alignment between teams. No one who could take an idea from whiteboard to production. AI didn't create these problems — it just made them impossible to ignore.
